Delhi Gudiya: The Rape Capital Shames India Again!

This time it was a five-year-old baby girl, lovingly called 'Gudiya’ (Doll), who fell to the perverted and fiendish greed of the rapists. She was reportedly abducted by a 25-year-old neighbor of her building on the evening of 15th April, 2013. The distressed family informed the police, but nothing was done except for registering an FIR with lot of delay. The point here to note here is that the family was a poor one with no political or influential connections to impress upon the police. And naturally, the ‘investigating’ officers never bothered to conduct a search in the building complex.

The baby girl was raped and tortured for more than forty hours. Finally, somebody heard her crying from inside a locked flat and she was rescued in a most precarious state. The neighbor seemed to have fled the premises as the noise over the abduction grew. The police arrived, and instead of taking the serious girl to a good hospital tried bargaining with the family for a cover-up. The family was allegedly offered 2000 bucks to remain silent and thus close the case. The 'magnanimous' police officials allegedly told the family that there was nothing now to worry about since Gudiya was found alive.

Yesterday Gudiya was finally shifted to the best hospital in the city and protesters took to the streets creating a national outrage once again in the Rape Capital of India—Delhi— where only four months ago a brutal gang rape shook the government of India forcing it to consider the issue of crimes against women more seriously. Action, ordinances and draft bills followed in quick succession. Within three months the anti-rape bill was made into a law that aimed to cover a whole range of crimes against women prescribing the death penalty in the rarest of rare cases. But, unfortunately, all rape-related cases in a country inhabited by an overpoweringly large class of male chauvinistic monsters could only be commonplace occurrences while in most foreign countries such cases would be immediately termed as 'rarest of rare'.

A team of specialized doctors started treating Gudiya. One of them said that he had never seen such barbaric torture inflicted upon a little girl.

More was in store. The same day yesterday some protesters barged into a police station demanding action and immediate punishment to the culprits. The police officers, true to their feudal colors, became oblivious even of the camera persons present there. Before a shocked nation one of them slapped a girl repeatedly and shoved the protesters out. The visuals went viral and angry reactions began to pour in from all quarters.

Even as the Prime Minister of India expressed his anguish and asked for stringent action to be taken Delhi Police showed little concern. The top cop never showed up and only a local Deputy Commissioner held a press conference last night. The Indian society, particularly the feudalistic northern belt, refused to change even after the most horrific Delhi Gangrape and the revolutionary aftermath. Another incident occurred at the same time at Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh where the body of a five-year-old girl with torture marks was recovered. When the mother of the child went to the local police station to lodge a complaint she was beaten and thrown out.

Money, power, corruption, perversion and degeneration have penetrated the Indian society to the core. If you do possess all these attributes you are fit to live in this country, if you try to be different better leave India.  In such a situation even strict laws, severe punishment and fast-track courts fail to act as deterrents. The only solution is a deep-rooted revolution. The Young India Movement for Change that started after the Delhi Gangrape must not be case specific and must go on without letup till it changes the ‘male-volent’ society.

Hope must still be kept alive in all our hearts. Gudiya is doing well as per the latest medical bulletin, but would need long-term reconstruction. The fiendish accused has been arrested in Bihar. A few police officials were suspended last evening, but suspension is only a stop-gap measure. All male monsters must be dismissed from service and arrested.

She DIES!

She dies. After 12 painful days of the most advanced medical treatment, care and attention. In New Delhi and then in Singapore. After the whole of India prayed for Her. After the Young India Movement For Change took up Her cause in thousands and thousands pouring onto the streets. After the most powerful dignitaries of the country wanted Her to live. After She wanted to live. Imagine the extent of damage caused to Her frail body by the fiends who are still alive in jail and are looking to get ‘justice’ from the courts over days, months and years to come. Is it just enough to say enough is enough?

She dies. She was a normal girl wanting to live a normal life. But in a country where depraved, sick and malignant males abound in She was born with the fatal disease of existing inside Her female body. Because in a country where people look up to mother Goddesses for blessings you cannot afford to have a female body and move around with it. These vultures are very different from Nature’s. These vultures attack, prey in, suck and feed on even alive bodies. For these the only requirements are that the bodies must be feminine, weak and defenseless.

She dies. Like so many other girls cursed to be born in female bodies in this lustful country. Like the Punjab girl who was gang raped, harassed by the rapists and the police in unison despite complaints lodged and diabolically driven to suicide. Like so many faceless females bodies littering the merciless country’s streets and so-called homes. The patriarchal horrors of the Indian society have just crossed the limits of tolerance.

She dies. The cries and the tributes are raging, pouring in this moment. The President, the Prime Minister and almost all in power and position have expressed their sorrow and paid rich tributes to the Braveheart. They all appealed for calm; because they all know that the continuing protests have just got ignited. As expected, the male dominated police forces reacted only by blocking roads to VIP areas of the national capital. Most reactions in this country are prompted by ‘maleness’ like the son of the President of India who described female protestors as ‘pretty pretty dented and painted women’. The patriarchal chauvinistic mindset has been allowed to live on more than enough.

She dies. Young India has been angry and seething over the last few days. Now it reaches the boiling point. This tremendous angst and anger must not unleash into mindless violence. This nation wide outrage must be converted into boundless energy and that energy must be directed towards shaking and demolishing the pillars of the Indian patriarchy. Women must be restored to positions of respect. Safety must be ensured for them.  The male vultures must be eradicated.

Awaken…India…awaken. Young India is leading you…Now For Change!

Delhi Gangrape Victim Shifted And Admitted In Singapore!

The Government of India decided at its highest level to shift the 23 year old girl battling for life for the last eleven days out of India for better treatment. Accordingly late last night she was shifted from Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi and taken to Singapore by an air ambulance. She was accompanied by the doctor in charge. Few hours later she was admitted in Mount Elizabeth Hospital. The decision was taken because the girl continued to be critical after undergoing three abdominal surgeries and suffering two cardiac arrests. Her doctors reportedly consulted physicians and surgeons the world over and decided on Singapore as it was much nearer and that Mount Elizabeth Hospital is famous for advanced facilities and multi-organ transplants.

The doctors in Singapore today described the girl’s condition as extremely critical and she is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the hospital. A multidisciplinary team of doctors has been taking all possible measures to stabilize her condition. The whole of India has been praying for her recovery. We appeal to all to join in the prayers. The girl must survive and inspire the Young India Movement for Change to go on fighting till the brutes are punished, strongest laws for rape are passed and the safety for women is fully ensured. The juvenile laws also urgently need to be changed, because a ‘minor’ (under 18) capable of committing the most brutal assault on a woman must be condemned as the worst criminal and must never be considered on his age. The teen monsters must be stopped at any cost as they form an integral part of the Subhuman Fiendish Horde.

Meanwhile, the Young India Movement for Change picked up again today in Delhi defying prohibitory orders. Hundreds of protestors marched from South Delhi towards India Gate, but the police blocked them midway. The mystery over the death of the police constable, Subhas Chand Tomar, continued with multiple versions available about what happened last Sunday. While some eyewitnesses maintain that he collapsed chasing the protestors, Delhi police claimed that he was killed as the post mortem reports revealed that Tomar was beaten up before his cardiac arrest.

We Want Justice: The Young India Movement For Change And After..!

What happened in New Delhi on last Saturday and Sunday was perhaps unexpected for most of us, particularly for the Delhi authorities and the police. What happened in New Delhi on Saturday and Sunday was unprecedented for sure for the national capital. And therefore, the situation led to more debates about several other aspects and these are still raging. But the crucial debate following the brutal gangrape of a 23 year old girl in Delhi remains and is getting stronger day by day. “We Want Justice!” “Safety For Women Must Be Ensured!”

Thousands of young students, boys and girls, descended on the most protected areas of Delhi right from the Saturday morning. Taken aback by the size and the unexpectedness, the police resorted to water cannons, tear gas shells and lathi charge giving rise to the debate if the police failed to handle a peaceful demonstration properly. There was violence in terms of stone pelting from the students leading to another debate if anti-social or political opportunist elements infiltrated the movement. Compelled by the size and the unexpectedness the Government of India announced measures that very day by evening. Proposed steps included making the rape laws stringent and paving the way for death penalty in rarest of rare cases, setting up of a judicial commission on women safety, suspension of several Delhi police officers for neglect of duty and others. But young India wanted immediate justice—severe punishment for the rapists and complete post trauma care for the victim.

The authorities and the police promulgated Section 144 to stop congregations, closed down several metro railway stations and blocked many roads leading to the VIP areas. But the Young India Movement defied everything and on Sunday thousands descended on the India Gate premises. As the upsurge tried to cross and break every barricade the police again resorted to stronger tactics. Violence of various forms broke out with injuries sustained on both sides. One police constable, Subhas Tomar, got severely injured due to alleged beating by youths and succumbed to his injuries today. The other debates got all the stronger.

Young India maintained that the peaceful nature of their Movement For Change and cried about police atrocities on innocent kids and even pregnant ladies. The police maintained its facts about the alleged infiltration and that the situation forced it to resort to strong measures. Several stock political opportunists and leaders took advantage of the mass upsurge to make mileage out of it and the death of the police constable and subsequent arrests made the situation delicate.

The main opposition political parties showed less concern for the issue and more for having another opportunity to pressurize and corner the Government leading to another debate if politicization of the issue would further slow down the process of justice for women. The Prime Minister of India addressed the nation yesterday appealing to all for maintaining calm, but the opposition parties still found it insufficient reiterating the demand for a special session of Parliament and all party meetings. Fortunately the 23 year old girl is better today, though still critical.

The thousands on the streets are getting thinner on Monday and today in Delhi and other parts of India no doubt, but the basic debate rages on. Young India has brought out everything in the open demolishing the secrecy, the privacy and the taboos. They have left no option for the nation but to feel shamed, shamed and shamed. Thanks to the efforts of the kids, the whole of India where Goddesses have been worshiped since times immemorial has now been arguing, thinking, interacting and debating about safety for women and prevention of atrocities against women.

The Young India Movement has indeed been guiding the nation surely and steadily For Change. A Change that our society needs desperately, and immediately.

Death For Rapists: Protests Gather Momentum All Around!

We had expressed disappointment here yesterday as election results and cricket seemed to have diverted the attention from the burning issue of our society—the subhuman fiendish progression. The ‘human’ beings of India have  come back today attacking the evil in all fury. Protests and demonstrations broke out almost everywhere—from Jammu and Kashmir in the north to Assam in the east. Busy as ever Mumbai too expressed its anger yesterday in spite of elections and cricket.

In Delhi, the venue of the heinous crime, demonstrations were held in various places as thousands of people took to the streets.  In Raisina Hill (the campus where the President of India lives), in front of the house of the Congress President, in Safdarjung Hospital where the gangrape victim is still battling for life in the ICU, in the India Gate surroundings and so on. Protests ranged from angry outbursts and sloganeering to candle light processions.

Tomorrow the second and last T20 International cricket match between India and England is scheduled at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, but the city is not getting carried away by the lure of instant cricket fun. Mumbai is set to witness several demonstrations tomorrow from the symbolic fury to candle light protests. Common people and celebrities of the city have joined together demanding  fast tracked punishment to the rapists and prevention of crimes against women. There had been strong echoes on the floor of both the houses of the Maharashtra Assembly during the winter session in Nagpur that concluded today. Increasing crimes against women in recent times have threatened to dent Mumbai’s reputation as the safest city for women in India. Mumbai must remain so always at all costs. Other places of the country including Delhi in particular must earn this reputation too at all costs. It is now or never. We must keep up the momentum. Put in all your might to finish off those cowardly brutes and perverts.

Delhi Gangrape: Spontaneous Protests All Over India!

The ‘human’ beings of India have woken up to the brutal reality of the society they live in and erupted into angry and anguished protests and demonstrations held all over the country over the brutal gangrape of a 23 year old girl on a moving public bus in New Delhi Sunday night . As the victim continued to be critical the Rape capital of India saw huge outbursts of people—mostly the young generation including women in large numbers—in several localities of the city demanding answers from the government and local authorities in the basic issues of security to women, quick justice and prevention of crimes.  The incensed people in hundreds and thousands held demonstrations before the residence of the Delhi Chief Minister, Delhi police headquarters and in other high security VVIP areas. Police had to resort to water canons to disperse the protestors. As per latest reports protests are still going on across the country.

One contrast came up instantly. The kind of security provided to VIPs and VVIPs became very clear as their forces tried to keep them secure from the common people. There has always been a shortage of police and security personnel across India and a huge chunk of the forces available are used up for VIP security. So, how much security is actually available for the mothers, daughters, sisters and wives of the common people? One news channel raised a pertinent question as to would all the big political leaders who shook up Parliament yesterday debating death penalty to the rapists care to release a percentage of their private security forces for the common people? That would make more policemen available per thousand of common people.

All across disturbed ‘human’ beings demanded death for all rapists and eve teasers. As far as the debate on ‘capital punishment’ is concerned there is instant agreement but for one crucial difference. The punishment must be fast tracked and instant if possible, and should not be left to rot for years and years in the due process of the courts, appeals and mercy petitions. And that no single rapist or eve teaser must escape from the law and roam free.

The big question is whether of this mass upsurge against criminals will be able to keep the momentum going for a long time to force the governments bring in stringent laws, creation of a secure environment for women and prevention of increasing crimes against women. We witnessed similar a mass outrage against corruption last year under Anna Hazare, but slowly it petered out as politics grew within. Hopefully, the momentum this time would keep going because this malady of the subhuman entities invading our society runs deeper and affects or threaten to affect the families and kin of both the corrupt and non-corrupt classes.

Keep to the basics this time. Do not entertain sex discrimination issues, do not allow gender bias to come in and do not indulge in diabolical egoism. Untie on mutual love and trust, and stay united, to defeat the demons and the fiends trying to eat up our society. The subhuman fiendish progression must be stopped at all costs. Before it is too late!

India Against Women: The Subhuman Fiendish Progression!

The deadly creatures prowl in hordes, always. In the street corners, in hotel or pub fronts, in the residential society entrances, in shops or restaurants outside school or college campuses, in movie theater junctions—to waylay and attack their victims. The deadlier creatures prowl in moving bikes, auto-rickshaws, cars, cabs, and even in public buses. Anytime, anywhere, everywhere. But their most favorite hours are always dark.

If we call our country India Against Women then New Delhi is fittingly the Rape capital. The marauders of humanity are much more sinister than the corrupt. The corrupt can only rob you of your money or belongings or properties, but these creatures loot your honour, loot your body and loot your soul. Like the political bigots, like the devilishly ambitious bosses, like the blood sucking parasites—all feeding constantly on the capital’s evergreen pastures, the creatures here too are more powerful, mostly protected and subhuman. They are capable of even making their feudal counterparts look aghast at what they themselves could not dream of accomplishing in their glorious medieval past.

India is also a country malevolently and malignantly male…male… and male. Rules here have always been made for the males. Women are lawfully or unlawfully at their perfect mercy within the four walls, outside and anywhere. Education has made the males richer and wiser, but their ‘male’ness remains like a historical or traditional truth. They take pride in their oppression, domination and torture of their females. The diabolically extreme ones among them become the subhuman fiends, and this class is growing ominously and growing out of control.
The fiendish creatures even took over a public bus the other in the Rape capital and began prowling the city stopping frequently for passengers or victims. One 23 year old paramedic girl student watching a movie with her boyfriend came out together of the theater just after 9 pm and waited at the bus stop. They boarded the fiendish bus unsuspectingly and what happened in the hour-long ride through the city is even beyond the imaginable levels of cruelty, depravity and brutality. The girl and the boy were thrown out after the subhuman fiends finished their job.

A national outrage was created just like in the case of Keenan and Reuben who got killed in Mumbai by a pack of hyenas for protesting eve teasing, just like in the case of the recent 19 year old Mumbai boy, the sole bread earner of his family, who was stabbed to death just outside the gate of his residential society by teenaged monsters for protesting against their lewd comments thrown at his neighborhood girl. The political class, some of whom never let go their male ego making irresponsible jabs at women, created in a din in Parliament today. The opposition leader demanded capital punishment for rapists. For the moment the leaders seemed to have forgotten their differences and politicking for perhaps righteously felt indignation. But what next?

The problem is those with some humanity still left in them are mortally scared of the subhuman fiends and prefer always to look on, because the lone brave one always gets wounded or killed. The real need of the hour is to get united—males and females together—and confront the demons. These creatures are basically cowards, because they prowl in hordes and attack the weaker victims. The ‘human’ beings must understand this and act accordingly.

What is needed to be delivered is instant justice. Stay united and make preparations in unison with the local authorities. And, hit the fiends where it pains the most and maim the demons permanently. The women of India must awaken, get ready and fight for their honour.

Degenerative Politics: The Divisive Greed!

A society divided on caste lines…further segmented by the reservation policy. The society’s divided mindset of looking at some people as ‘untouchables’ has been maintained with utmost care throughout the history of ‘independent’ India. The elected representatives thrive on such divisions and go on creating divided vote banks to rule ‘one’ country. Corruption based on divisive greed for money first and then power encompasses the ‘one’ and divided country fully. The vicious circle sets in leading to erosion of values, cheapness of lives and culture, increase in mindless violence and…degeneration. A few ominous indicators are crying out to be linked to this process of degeneration.
  • The monsoon session of the Indian Parliament ends tomorrow without any work done or executed or completed. It is stalled for the 12th day in succession today. No doubt, serious issues are involved, but no party wants the solutions and no debates allowed. Obviously the divisive greed cannot have any solution. To cap it all two ‘respectable’ members of the upper house had a fist fight for the first time in Parliamentary history and in full view of the nation. Fighting for one more division within all the divisions. And fighting for one more elected opportunity to reap in the windfall.
  •  The political party that commits itself to fight corruption tooth and nail sends its elected representatives in a state it rules on picnics abroad in the name of official ‘study tour’. While the poor farmers there are dying due to drought conditions. Media exposes one such waste of public money and one more gets discovered in the same state. The vested interests in power admit their helplessness to change the pattern.
  • Thirty eight poor workers die in a blazing firecracker factory fire yesterday. Why? Because the owners violated the safety standards and rules. To be precise, the degenerative system based on divisive greed allowed them to violate.
  • Anna Hazare tried to fight the degeneration, but his members could not resist the temptation of divisive greed. His team no longer exists and the erstwhile members are divided among themselves.

  • Baba Ramdev too joins in to fight the system and finally partners the elected representatives only. The Baba naturally wants to justify his immense riches with political clout based on divisive greed.

  • Brutal facts on crimes against women and babies, carnivorous eve teasing, perversions, sadism, horrific murders and so on are everyday incidents nowadays. Yesterday, in a reputed educational institution of the country a horrible ragging incident was reported with the videos going viral. Maybe a new generation is being nurtured and maintained to fit the elected representatives greed by greed, perversion by perversion to finally complete the process of degeneration in near future.
How to stop it? But who will think of stopping it? How many of us are not already taken in by the vicious circle? We must first allow selfless debates within us and between us and then only can think of a way out.

Crimes Against Women: India Back In Medieval Times!

In the Middle Ages India was utterly divided along dynastic states and those of the invaders apart from the ethnic, cultural, linguistic, caste and religious divisions already inherent. There was tremendous infighting too and therefore security in a particular locality or fief was a great concern. So the feudal lords decided what was best for them, set the harshest rules for the society and enforced those with vigor.
The feudal lords were predominantly the land owners and they commanded most of other wealth like livestock and natural resources of the fief. Women too were considered as part of their property and that defined the larger relationship issues for the society.
The feudal lords of the 21st century India continue to remain as reactionary and as powerful as in those times. They still decide what is best for them and accordingly for the society. The 21stcentury India remains utterly divided too despite the formation of a republic after Independence in 1947. India of the medieval ages and India of the 21st century stand united though only on one front—dominating, suppressing, oppressing, torturing and exploiting women.
They consider women as commodities of the use and throw kind and user friendliness is always a must condition. At best, they consider women as reproductive machines and here too if they find the machines starting to wear off they go for new and newer ones. They just cannot tolerate any spark of individuality in women. They want them for all the services from cooking onwards…and of course with the utmost loyalty at all times. They commit all the crimes and ridicule the idea of punishment for themselves. But if a woman dares committing even an innocuous mistake, forget crimes, her fate gets sealed as per the set rules of their society.
This sickening male domination infects all spheres of life of medieval India or modern India—the administration from the village onwards, the police, the military, the judiciary and the government. If a wronged woman approaches any of these authorities the first suspicion will be on her character—what exactly she did to invite the atrocity, what exactly she wore and what exactly she ate or drank. The victim of malevolent male atrocity becomes the accused very fast as per set patterns.
Forget about what the sick and malignant male component does with the female fetus and the girl child, because you need to concentrate more on the larger issue of crimes against women that continue to hit you with ruthless regularity and from all parts of the country.
Yes, it has to be Uttar Pradesh, as always. The council of elders known as the Khap Panchyat in a particular village there passed the following diktats only recently.
Women up to the age of forty cannot:
  • Go to the market or go out of home after evening if not escorted by a male.
  • Own a mobile phone.
  • Fall in love or have a love marriage.
  • Go out without covering even her head fully.
They know nobody would dare oppose their diktats. For the simple reasons that malevolent males like them only form the higher authorities and the government too would be heavily dependent on their votes. As per latest reports the central Khap has said that female feoticide is a crime. Maybe be they are afraid of the very adverse male-female ratio in their region, because if females cease to exist who will service them!
But as we have indicated earlier it is not just Uttar Pradesh, it is the entire country that is fast making a regressive journey into the middle ages. Heart wrenchingly, my home state of Assam and my home city Guwahati too.  A state known for the simple folks, warmest hospitality, endearing sincerity, a time tested thread of social and religious tolerance thanks to our great saints and liberated intellectuals, festivals devoid of caste or religious barriers and happy-go-lucky attitude. The lush green and serenely peaceful land we grew up in. A tranquil balance of man and nature to be felt and relished all the time. But the malignant male disease has threatened to devour up that piece of land too.
Of course, the danger signals were there for all to feel and realize. First the terror strife and rising levels of unemployment and frustrations among the youth. Then, a palpable and continuous decay of cultural values with people craving for consumerism and superficial tastes. The bad and the ugly were looming large as two back-to-back incidents happened that showed human depravity at the lowest and exploded the myth of a contented society.
The first incident is not about a common and a vulnerable woman, but about a sitting lady member of the legislative assembly of Assam.  We do not exactly know if the lady was happy with her ‘male’ husband—an elected member too. But we know for sure that she fell in love with a boy much younger to her and belonging to a different religion. Eventually the lady representative decided to take the plunge and eloped with the boy. She converted to the other religion and married the boy without divorcing her first husband. The first husband feigned total ignorance and lodged a missing complaint with the police.
Meantime the loyal media followed the couple everywhere and continued to air spicy stories so that the people know all the details. Now, by the standards of medieval India the woman committed crimes of the most grievous nature. The feudal lords geared up for ‘corrective’ action or punishment for such unpardonable crimes.
So, when the couple happened to visit the constituency from which the lady got elected and was staying in a hotel for the night a huge crowd of over 200‘reformers’ gathered in front of the hotel in the dead of the night. They ransacked the hotel and forcibly entered her room starting to beat up the couple mercilessly. They pulled, stripped and kicked the lady gleefully video-graphed by some media person who perhaps wanted the whole world to know about it. The hooligans would have gone on to kill her if the police did not arrive finally.   The video was instantly around in all media channels and the net. Outrage, demands for strict action…but hardly any action so far.
The second incident happened right in the middle of the city of Guwahati late evening. One 17 year old girl attended a birthday party in a bar and came out alone maybe due to some technicality or a brawl with her friends as reported by some news agencies. The feudal lords were waiting for her. How could she dare enter a bar and possibly drink liquor, the lords justified. That was crime enough for the ‘protectors’ of society.
A group of them cornered the girl just outside the bar and in full public view. They started touching her, stripping her and molesting her. More ‘male’ components joined the fun instantly attracted to the ‘reformist’ action and it grew into a 40 something strong mob. Passersby too stopped in their tracks and nobody had any thought of trying to rescue the helpless girl. The spot was very near to a prominent news channel and its reporter was present maybe from the beginning or even earlier.
The inhuman and indefinably cruel torture continued for 30 long minutes and the channel cameraman continued to record the incident with great details and a creative finish. ‘He’ was reportedly even directed by the rampaging perverts to take particular pictures from particular angles. Perhaps ‘he’ too wanted the whole world to know about it. Finally the police managed to arrive there and rescued the girl. But as the ‘male’ components were very dominant in the police too questions were asked more about the girl’s character and habits. After a national outrage broke out the police had to show some progress by arresting four lords. The other lords including a government employee could perhaps be planning for the next ‘reformist’ action. Some say the reporter was part of the mob instigating the whole incident.
The news channel defended its reporter saying it wanted action for that shameful act and therefore recorded the video as solid proof for identifying the culprits. But vital questions need to be answered. Why the video recording continued for half an hour? Why did not they record for two minutes for identification purpose and then try to rescue the girl? Why the video was loaded into the YouTube? Was it for creating a public opinion or for just giving vicarious pleasure to the eternal net voyeurs? After the video was supplied to everyone possible the news channel vowed not to show it as it would make the girl’s trauma endless! Kill all the birds with a single bullet? Give out a social message while earning massive revenues?
We recently cried for redefining SHAME in India! But it is hardly necessary. It is written large and in bold all over everywhere and anywhere. If AL Basham wrote ‘The Wonder That Was India’, now it should be rewritten as ‘The SHAME That Is India’!

The invasion of cultural Taliban-ism in India is in full swing. Unless the ‘male’ mindset is changed there seems to be no way out of it.

Stop The Sick Killers--Another Eve Teasing Tragedy!

One more horrible eve teasing incident had been reported from Jind, a town in the northern state of Haryana, leading to deaths of two innocent girls. The sick mentality of the two-legged cannibals who prowl the streets of India anytime any day strikes one more time. Who will stop these cowards always preying on the weaker ones?

Two school girls around 16 years of age, Ankita and Shikha, were returning from their tuition classes in the evening on Thursday on a scooter. Two cannibals looking for easy flesh followed them on a motorcycle hailing the girls with lewd remarks and abuses.  The busy public street promised not even an iota of safety for the girls and knowing this fully well the cowards rode even closer trying to molest them on the move.

In a desperate attempt to get clear Ankita, who was driving, lost balance and their scooter veered off towards the wrong side of the street. A racing truck coming close behind crushed them.

The incident took place right in front of a major police station and the policemen preferred to watch it rather than taking immediate action. The two cowards sensing trouble now fled the spot and thanks to few bystanders the truck driver was caught and the girls taken to hospital. But they were announced brought dead. The devastated families of both the girls first took it as a case of accident, but were dismayed beyond consolation when they came to know the horrid details from a lone eyewitness.

Two more victims of eve teasing. Only about three months back two brave youths lost their lives trying to save their female companions from teasing. In the Jind case it was becoming almost clear that the two cannibals belonged to influential families and so, police action seemed to be an non-starter.

Policemen cannot protect victims from eve teasing. It’s the society that must wake up to prevent it and take tough action. Men and women must be united in this fight against the cannibals. The men must kill the cowards within them and the women must learn self-defense tactics good enough to carry the fight to the ultimate triumph over the evil.

Stop the Killers! Fight Eve Teasing and Crimes Against Women!

The killers are prowling in every street. They kill for ‘their’ crimes! And, they do not need even the slightest pretext to kill. They are the oppressors of women, they don’t think before they kill! They are the dreaded animals dressed up and existing like human beings. We must stop them before they eliminate humankind from this planet.

Mumbai has been known as a city safe for women. But facts belie the perceptions. Recently in a prime locality of the city of dreams few drunken hoodlums passed lewd remarks at three girls in a group coming out of a restaurant after supper. The two boys in the group protested and a scuffle ensued. The hoodlums knifed the two youths. One of them, Keenan, died on way to hospital. The other, Reuben, died in hospital today. Two young lives lost just for the lustful whims of the perverted drunks.

We, the proud successors of the human race, must fight and eradicate these animals before they obliterate mankind from its only place in the universe. The fairer folks must learn both self-defense and attacking tactics and they must be ready to face the animals anywhere everywhere anytime—even within the four walls of their homes. The men must inculcate the spirit of chivalry and self respect.

A huge campaign has been started in social networking sites and in the media ‘JUSTICE FOR KEENAN AND REUBEN’. We must all join together and fight for our rights.
