Longer Break!

...well, no excuses!

In my latest ezine aricle we posed the question about who would have the last laugh on the N Deal.

Well, too many laughs, but the last is still to come! On winning the trust vote convincingly the Indian government laughed merrily. Then, a few days back the opposition parties and the leftist laughed a lot. Then again on NSG winner the govenment had the heartiest laugh.

Yet, the Deal is still to be through. What a Deal!

If the Deal is finally passed the left parties would wait for the next government to come after winning the elections and scrap it. Just chill!

Long Break!

Quite a long break. Well, busy with work in office and not rather keeping fit. So it was mostly rest at home.

In the meantime the political rampage in India is still going on. Now the trust vote will be done on a special session of Parliament on July 21-22. If the government win the trust vote the nuclear deal is through.

For now the left-right megamix (the left political parties and the fundamentalist right wing parties coming together to bring the government down)is rocking!

Loan Wavering!

The most discussed the most debated the most controversial hottest topic at the moment in India is the loan waiver granted by the Union Budget-2008-09 to all small and marginal farmers holding upto 5 acres of land. There are more demands now-that is say maybe more greed- by all political parties. 'Give loan waiver to big farmers too holding land beyond 5 acres'. 'Give it to other communities too like the fishemen folks'. 'Give it to all poor folks'.

One smart reporter in a news room had a fertile suggestion. 'Why not demonstrate for a complete loan waiver to all credit card holders!' Right buddy! So many credit card holders are plagued by goons invading their homes to recover the dues.
